GE BDI10 369B1873G5001 Base Board

The BDI10 supports 16 switching input signals. The input signals support dry contact, source current and sink current types. There is no noise suppression circuit on the bottom board, the noise suppression circuit is on the IO board.

There are one 64-pin and two 48-pin connectors on the chassis for connecting the MDI10 module. the 64-pin connector connects to the CPU board and the two 48-pin connectors connect to the IO board. The 2 Ethernet signals and 2 power supplies on the base board are connected to the CPU board via the 64-pin connector, and the 16 switching inputs and 2 power supplies are connected to the IO board via two 48-pin connectors.

Installation

The 16 switching input signals are connected directly to four terminal blocks plugged into the chassis, each with 12 terminals capable of receiving up to #12 AWG signal wire.

The BDI10 baseboard can receive the following input types:

· Dry contact type

· Proximity switch: sink current type (DC PNP) 

· Proximity switch: source current type (DC NPN)

Operation

The 16 switching input signals are divided into two groups, 1-8 as a group and 9-16 as a group, and each group can be set as source current and sink current type through HMI.
