88FN02C-E GJR2370800R0200 Bus Coupling Module

The 88FN02C-E bus coupling module remote bus/local bus is used within the master stations and within the multi-purpose processing stations of the PROCONTROL bus system.

It serves to connect the local bus via the frequency modules (88 FT01, 88 FV 01) to the remote bus and vice versa.

Features:

Two versions of the module are available, each with two different designs:

88 FN01-E/R0100 or 88 FN02-E/R0100 respectively: 160 mm deep for use in the muiti-purpose processing stations.

88 FN01-E/R0200 or 88 FN02-E/R0200 respectively: 220 mm deep for use in the master stations.

Both versions (R0100 or R0200 respectively) are identical in respect of their module functions. Version 88 FN02 supersedes 88 FN01.

The module is provided witha standard interface to the remote bus and a standard interface to the PROCONTROL local bus.

A selecting circuit pemits the connection of two remote bus lines to the coupling module (if the bus system is of redundant design).

Any disturbances detected by the monitoring circuits are signalled by a light-emitting diode (ST) at the front of the remote bus modules.

Continuous transmitter disturbances are indicated on the front side of the module by light-emitting diode QA and QB respectively.

A connecting socket is provided at the front of the module to which the local bus is connected. The service and commissioning device can be connected to this socket.
